He did NOT change the lyrics to the song “Light My Fire” they (network t.v.) didn’t want him to say the first line in the song “You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar
If I was to say to you
Girl, we couldn’t get much higher” Higher being the word they wanted left out.
